Highlights:
Starting at Hornbill Adventures office, we ride bikes to Ham Ninh village, a peaceful place leans by mountains and faces to the sea. You can see the daily life of local people, you can stop on the way to take pictures of green forest and the beautiful trees.
Visiting a local family’s house where they make Vietnamese rice wine, or “rượu gạo”. You can learn about the traditional process of fermenting and distilling rice, and taste some of the homemade rice whisky.
Visiting the oldest fish sauce factory to learn about the traditional fish sauce processing process with a history of hundreds of years.
Charcoal production used to be the islanders' livelihood when they first migrated here. Nowadays, there are not many families continuing this traditional profession. We will introduce how they make charcoal using the simplest tools.
Phu Quoc burning chicken is a rustic specialty but possesses an irresistible appeal that you should definitely try if you have the opportunity to travel to Phu Quoc. The crispy, juicy flavor of our chicken and the fragrant scent of kaffir lime leaves mixed together will definitely bring you many new and memorable culinary experiences.
A car will transfer you back to the Hornbill Adventures office or your hotel if your hotel is on the way. You will have completed the tour

Great bikes – enjoyable outing
We’ve done several bike tours while in Vietnam and thought this one was one the best. The equipment was excellent – great bikes and good helmets. The guide and his team were great as well. They selected good roads (not always an easy task!). Would higher recommend.

Die Organisation, die Fahrräder und die Einweisung war super! Die Tourguides haben viel über Land und Leute erzählt! Das ganze in einer sehr persönlichen Betreuung, jederzeit Fotostopp eingelegt, wenn gewünscht! Auf unserer Tour war es sehr heiß, sie haben jederzeit Rücksicht genommen und angehalten, wenn wir wieder eine Trinkpause (am liebsten andauernd 😉) brauchten! Wir hatten bei dieser Tour viel Spaß und haben viel zusammen gelacht!

Very unique and unforgettable bicycle experience.
Great guides who planned a very unique and authentic bicycle tour. We visited many family owned factories and had a great lunch. The tour guides are very friendly, knowledgeable and definitely know how to plan an amazing tour!

An Incredible Day!
I can’t speak highly enough about this tour. I can’t remember having a better day ever. The two young guides who led me, Si and Tan, took great care of me. They are both educated young men with near native English proficiency. They know their business too. Any question I had about anything concerning the island, they were able to answer – to include the flora and fauna we passed by. They also customized my trip to include some of the specialized interests I have. It seems like they went over and above board for me. Our break and dinner stops were at family operated businesses which made me happy to support. And there were always kids around to have fun playing with. And the chicken dish we had at the dinner break was incredible as well. Thanks for a great day Si, Tan. I especially appreciate how safety conscious you guys are.
